Personal data collected is processed electronically in strict compliance with privacy and data protection legislation, and will not be used for any purpose other than that for which consent was given.
3. Sub-processors and Third-Party Platforms
In order to provide its services, BioInsight uses the following third-party platforms acting as sub-processors in the processing of personal data:

The contact form available on bioinsight.pt uses the Brevo platform (Sendinblue SAS, 7 rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France) for sending transactional emails. Cookiebot is a Consent Management Platform (CMP) that allows users to accept, reject or manage cookie preferences in a granular manner, in compliance with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
Cookiebot records and stores user consent preferences (without collecting additional personal data), ensuring that non-essential cookies are not loaded without the prior and explicit consent of the user. Cookiebot is ISO 27001 certified and compliant with GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and other global data protection regulations. For more information, please visit https://www.cookiebot.com/en/privacy-policy/

- Performance of a contract – to clarify doubts, execute and manage the relationship with BioInsight.

- Legitimate interest – where necessary for tasks related to BioInsight’s business activity, provided the data subject’s privacy rights do not override this interest.
5.1. Data retention periods
BioInsight retains personal data only for the period strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Data required for tax authority reporting will be retained for 10 years in accordance with applicable legislation.
For marketing purposes, personal data will be retained for a maximum of 5 years from the date consent was obtained or from the last contact made, whichever is later. After that period, data will be irreversibly anonymised or securely destroyed.
6. Transmission of Personal Data
